Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-Orders Begin on June 25

The wait is almost over. Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25, with fans able to wishlist the game right now on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store ahead of launch.

GTA VI is now set to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S after Rockstar pushed the date back from its original spring window. The new November launch ends a 13-year gap since Grand Theft Auto V first hit shelves in 2013 and locks in what is already shaping up to be one of the biggest entertainment events of the decade — with anticipation building since the first official trailer broke the internet and racked up hundreds of millions of views in just days.

The new entry takes players back to Vice City, Rockstar's neon-drenched take on Miami, and expands across the wider fictional state of Leonida. Vice City returns bigger, brighter, and more alive than ever — packed with beaches, swamps, nightlife, and a sprawling open world that pushes current-gen hardware to its limits.

For the first time in franchise history, GTA VI introduces a dual-protagonist story centered on Lucia and her partner Jason — a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde tale of love, loyalty, and crime spiraling out of control. Their journey weaves through high-stakes heists, betrayals, and the chaos of life on the run in a state where opportunity and danger sit on the same block.

Rockstar is once again pushing the boundaries of what an open-world game can be — denser cities, deeper systems, more reactive NPCs, and the kind of detail that turns every street corner into a story. Expect a living, breathing world built to be explored for years.

With pre-orders opening June 25 and the full release now set for November 19, 2026, now is the time to lock in your wishlist on PlayStation or Xbox so you're ready the moment the floodgates open.
